Muter Construction, along with our design partner CRA Associates, Inc., served as the contractor for the USA Cricket Stadium project for the Town of Morrisville, completed over two phases. The project is part of a multi-million-dollar partnership between the Town of Morrisville and Major League Cricket to expand Church Street Park into an international-quality cricket venue. The new facility is slated to host Major League Cricket and USA Cricket national team matches and training events.
Phase 1 (Hard Bid): Church Street Park Amenities included enhancements to the existing facility, with expanded seating capacity for 3,500+ spectators, installation of fencing, electrical pedestals and equipment storage.
Phase 2 (Design-Build): Southern Lot Expansion of Church Street Park included construction of a 90-space parking lot, four natural turf practice pitches and two synthetic turf patches with lighting, a picnic shelter with restroom, an outdoor sand volleyball court and a multi-sport court for futsal, roller hockey and other recreational uses.
The site also required stormwater control measures, sidewalks, and other improvements to meet applicable local, state, and federal development requirements.
