OR 7 Renovation at ECU Health Medical Center

Muter Construction renovated Operating Room 7 at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC. The scope included a full interior upfit, upgraded air handling units, replacement of fan walls and a new Building Automation System (BAS) controls package.

The adjacent OR suite stayed fully operational the entire time. To protect patient care, we phased the work around the surgical schedule and performed noisy, disruptive and heavy work at night and on weekends. Daytime activity stayed quiet and contained, with infection control and dust containment measures in place throughout.
