Country Club of North Carolina
Situated within 100 miles of more than 90% of the state’s population, The Country Club of North Carolina is just that – North Carolina’s Club – a club that is accessible, centrally located and reminiscent of our state’s storied history. The clubhouse was initially constructed in 1965, just two years after the Club’s founding, by a group of 40 businesspeople from across the state representing a kind of Who’s Who of North Carolina business and philanthropy. Over the past 57 years, the Club has seen renovation and change, but none as significant as the Club’s most recent makeover, which includes a total transformation of the 17,925-SF space adorned with quality craftsmanship and stunning, rich finishes. With a soaring cathedral ceiling, expanded outdoor terrace, and elegant appointments, the project has been well received by Club members and garnered the facility an honorable mention from Golf, Inc.’s prestigious Golden Fork Awards.
The project was honored with a Merit Award from the Carolinas ABC in 2022. Phase I was designed by Chambers USA and Phase II was designed by AM Design Group.
