Center for Documentary Film Studies at Duke University
Muter Construction is restoring the Lyndhurst House, a historic residence built around 1920 and now home to Duke University’s Center for Documentary Film Studies. Following a December 2024 building assessment, the project addresses deficiencies across the exterior facade, porch, terrace, balcony and roofs. Work includes asphalt shingle and low-slope roof replacement, window replacement, facade and masonry repairs, a crawlspace vapor barrier and interior and exterior painting. Historic building elements and finishes are protected throughout construction.
