Alderman + King Halls at UNCW

This project includes renovations to Alderman Hall and King Hall on the UNCW campus. Alderman Hall spans two floors, measures 26,108 sqft and was constructed in 1960.  The structure is load-bearing CMU with steel beams, floor joists and roof trusses and the single-story portion of the building has a precast double-T roof structure. Project delivery will be phased to allow for partial occupancy during construction.

King Hall is also two stories and measures 22,298 sqft. The renovation includes code deficiency corrections, a new fire alarm system, mechanical and electrical upgrades, programmatic renovations to the second floor to accommodate the Honors College and new finishes in the public spaces on the first floor.

This project is being delivered under a CM at Risk contract and is slated for completion in Fall 2023.
