Stouffer Hall Roof Replacement

This project is being completed for the owner, North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.The roof replacement is taking place at the Charlotte Hawkins Brown Museum. The museum links Dr. Brown and Palmer Memorial Institute to the larger themes of African American history, women’s history, social history, and education, emphasizing the contributions African Americans made in North Carolina. This project consist of removing the existing metal wall panels and perimeter trim, conductor boxes, and downspouts from the existing low-sloped roof system and install a new standing seam metal roof system over retrofit framing with associated new flashings, wall panels, perimeter gutter, and downspouts.
