North Carolina State University’s Randall B. Terry, Jr. Companion Animal Veterinary Medical Center spans two floors and measures 116,000 sf. The hospital treats more than 20,000 patients per year and has become a major referral center for veterinarians across the southeastern United States.
The College of Veterinary Medicine graduated its first class in 1985, but despite its relative youth, the College has gained international recognition on the strength of its teaching, research, engagement, and patient care efforts and is ranked 3rd among the nation’s 28 colleges of veterinary medicine in the current U.S. News & World Report survey.
