GTCC Center for Advanced Manufacturing Center
This project includes the adaptive reuse of an existing manufacturing building. The Center For Advanced Manufacturing (CAM) will house a variety of spaces supporting GTCC programs including: welding, machining, collision/body repair, automotive repair, heavy equipment repair. Spaces to be constructed include: classrooms, offices, shops, repair bays, and related support spaces. Both existing and new building systems will be utilized. A new main entrance addition will be constructed. Portions of the currently one story building will receive the insertion of a second floor for mechanical and future use. Repairs to the existing building envelope (roof, doors, dock doors, brick masonry, etc.) will be included. Muter Construction is responsible for the concrete and masonry packages on this project.
